Entrevista a Juanmi Armuña (20minutos)

A sus 23 años, Juanmi es uno de esos jóvenes que rompe con el perfil rutinario de los de su quinta. Aficionado al carnaval desde 2002, forma parte de la comparsa ´El Mixto´ desde 2005, “porque es un espacio donde puedo manifestarme” y porque así “voy dando el cante y descargo mi estrés”.
No comprendo a esa gente que vive sacrificada sólo pensando en el futuro.
Juanmi tiene más aficiones que caras. Y es que cuando uno entrevista ´al Armuña´ no sabe si está hablando con Juanmi, con Antoñito o con Po zí. Sus otras “personas” que salen a escena “en mi tiempo libre” que es cuando “aprovecho para que salga mi alter ego”.
El más pequeño de la familia Armuña, hijo de un pastelero que “ha hecho este dulce tan bueno”, se toma la vida con ilusión y alegría. Viviendo “el día a día” y disfrutando con cada cosa que hace. Por eso, confiesa a 20minutos.es , que no “comprende a esa gente que vive sacrificada sólo pensando en el futuro”.
Trabajando como periodista, ensayando cada noche con su comparsa… a Juanmi todavía le queda tiempo para cultivar su afición: escribir. Y es que este joven, nacido en el barrio de ´La Pantera´ “lugar con idiosincrasia”, está escribiendo el que será su primer libro.
El título ya lo tiene claro: ´El Quijote del Estrecho´, un relato con el que quiere reflejar cómo es la sociedad de Ceuta y en el que lleva trabajando dos meses. Cada momento libre que tiene, y con el permiso de su otro yo, emborrona folios apuntando nuevas ideas.

“Hay personas que se creen el centro del mundo”, apostilla Armuña, que “basándose en sus colegas” quiere reflejar todas esas personalidades en las que tanto se fija. Porque Juanmi es un observador nato, al que algunos llaman friky pero otros bautizan, sencillamente, como un exprimidor de la vida.
El relato de Armuña se basa en el Desnarigado, un personaje histórico de Ceuta del “que todos hablan pero nadie, en el fondo conoce su historia”. “Yo voy a hablar de esa sociedad que habla del resto de las personas sin conocerlas realmente”, confiesa. El protagonista de su novela es un joven que habla con el Desnarigado a través de una caracola. Y, afirma, que él también lo hace. A lo mejor ese Quijote no está sólo en su libro.
Juanmi no tiene prisa. Entre noticias, ensayos de Carnaval y literatura, tiene tiempo para disfrazarse. Y es que sus colaboraciones en la empresa local ARTE le han servido para conseguir algún que otro trabajito en bares de Ceuta, en los que ha hecho de todo: desde monólogos hasta disfrazarse de Drag Queen imitando a Miguel Bosé en la mítica ´Tacones Lejanos´. Así es Armuña. Un joven como tantos otros pero con un toque diferente.

Pues sí, el armuña como muchos le dicen es un crak, para mi es ‘el más que escribe’, basicamente lo que le sale de los co…, solamente comentarte que estare atento a las cosillas de tu blog que veo que pones cosillas interesantes y que saques pronto ese libro que conociendote debe estar muy muy bien jejej.
